CLEAR SPAN HOUSE Brisbane Inner City

A local builder called us when asked to renovate this 1990s inner city home. Our brief was to design a new kitchen and outdoor room that connected the existing dining and living areas to the pool and courtyard beyond. The owners' request was “no posts”, so we used a steel portal frame to create a wide aperture that opens to the sky and landscape beyond. They love the transformation this renovation has made to their home and lives: a beautiful sanctuary in which to relax and entertain for years to come.
